Rash or Acne?

My sweet little Daniel has some type of rash or breakout on his face. Not sure if this picture does it justice but it covers both sides of his face branching out on his forehead, ears and chest. I assumed it was baby acne, but then I started wondering if it could be a heat rash or caused by something I was eating or lotion I have on my arms. Could it be my laundry detergent? Although I wash Daniels stuff in special baby detergent I still wash mine in Tide Free and since he is lying on me a lot
